usually I'm not very good at keeping up with the audio portal, so during monthly voting I'll at least put the time in to give listens to the songs you can vote for, n this one just got me. hella dig the vibes, the progression is kinda nostalgic in a way but i feel like you struck a good balance of having some complexities without compromising a simple pleasant listen. easily in my top 5 for the month bro!!!

only thing im curious is if you have a ride doing straight eighths at 1:58 while you got the crash breakdown happening? completely possible for a drummer but would be an interesting groove

At the moment you're talking about, I was inspired by some unknown Japanese alternative rock track.

unfortunately, unlike guitars, I don't have real drums, so I can't say if it's possible to play something like this in reality. I used the drums from the plugin, so meow

almost reminds me of the band dealership and some of their calmer songs mixed with their electronic sounds they go for sometimes. usually vocals are what pulls me away from this kind of music but it works here, its nice. i dig it a lot

the entire process between reading your art post about the blender/aseprite work and listening to the audio piece and seeing you how attached a specific visual to your piece is really cool, and easily deserves 5 stars. hell, more than that on NG since 5 stars can be such a common rating. its fantastic, and inspiring, since I've always wanted to get better with DAWs to try and make my own songs and draw art for a visual aspect of the music, its such a strong form of expression. in short, amazing work dude. love both the art and the song. especially the techy voice at the end, I forget what voice generation that is specifically but still. hella good stuff

Thx and I put quite some focus on the percussion so thx, it's a mish mash between 8bit based and edm based percs, and I got the balance really well

I like the overall feel to it, I guess the only thing I would say is the vocal chops feel a little repetitive after a bit, but its not like really big
